In order to maintain maximum safety, Freshfilter developed the unique FFController; a completely automated control unit which is simple-to-operate, but equipped with advanced electronics. Our overpressure units are standard fitted with the PLC controller.

The FFController has the following characteristics:

Pressure control

When the switch is set to the automatic position, the system ensures that the overpressure in your cabin is at least 100Pa. Due to the lowest possible stream-through speed, this system guarantees the optimal contact-time with the carbon filters.

LED-display

With the LED-display, you can always read the actual overpressure-value. Equipped with the optional odour-sensor, the LED-display even allows you to obtain the PPM-value!

CE-Approved

Pleasant to know, by passing the CE-test, you can be sure that the electronics of the FFController does not interfere with the other electronics on board of the machine.

Cabin-alarm

The cabin leakage alarm avoids a high rate of airflow. A leaking cabin requires a more voluminous air flow in order to maintain the same pressure as a sealed one. This also causes the polluted air to flow too quickly through the air filters. This can also reduce safety levels, but the standard cabin leakage alarm overcomes this danger.

In collaboration with RAVO, Freshfilter developed a custom-made overpressure-unit to mount on a RAVO 5-series street-sweeper. The FFRavbox is, as well as our other overpressure-units, equiped with the FFController. The unit is entirely strained from stainless steel.

After more than 15 years of successfull activities in the filtration sector, we developed a multi applicatable overpressure unit: the FFBox. This unique unit is fitted with our FFController, which ensures the safety of the driver (read more).

The FFBox has the following characteristics:

Circular filterelements

The circular design ensures that the air is taken 100% evenly through the filters. enormous filter surface the stream through speed is very low.

No frames

Every job requires different kind of filter elements; and often the thickness of the filter elements varies. With the FFBox, you don’t have to waste valuable time to calculate the right height of the filter stack since the dust- and carbon-filters do not influence each other.

Balanced design

Due to its total height of just 22cm, you can be sure that the aerodynamics of the vehicle is not at stake. The FFBox filter housing is made of stainless steel with a lightweight aluminium lid, so changing the elements is user friendly, and can be done without any tools.

Ideal mounting capabilities

The FFBox is extremely suitable for installation on commercial vehicles, or for mounting on roofs of excavators. Please see our photoalbum for some mounting examples

In 2006 we introduced a more compact overpressure unit. It goes without saying that the FFMultiBox is also controlled by the FFController.

The FFMultiBox is characterized by the following points:

lightweight

Light-weight

Despite of the fact that the FFMultiBox consists entirely of stainless steel, it just weighs 28Kg.

Compact

Despite its enormous filter-capacity, but due to its clever design, the FFMultiBox has very little outer dimensions. This favours the ability to position the unit even if space on the machine’s deck is restricted. Dimensions l*w*h: 815*435*297mm

Dust-blockage

The patented system (Dutch patent 1031943), ensures that the air is taken from underneath the unit, against gravity, through the filters to the cabin. Due to this remarkable concept, the filters are self-cleaning, which results in a longer life span.

Multi-measurements

The most common rectangular filters can be applied in the system – once you order a unit it will be adjusted to your specific needs.
