Pressurized Filtration System (PFS)

When your company is industrious in waste processing (e.g. demolition of old buildings), you or your employees are being exposed to toxicity (e.g. asbestos damps or odours) during the project. Now, there is a simple solution to protect your people to those dangerous working environments.

The PFS ensures that the pressure inside the cabin of a truck or crane is higher than the pressure outside, ensuring that no air from outside is taken inside the cabin. It has a fan, which sucks the air inside the system, where a filterstack is placed. This air flows though the filters into the cabin, creating an artificial pressure difference in it.

When to apply

Safety. When working in toxic environments, the pressure difference between the outside of the cabin and the inside ensures that a driver is not able to breathe in any toxic crill from the contaminated soil he’s working on. Because of the difference in pressure, the unfiltered air from the outside is not able to get inside the cabin, providing a healthy environment for the cabin worker.

Which filter elements do I need?

Depending on the amount of contamination (particles and/or odours), Freshfilter can supply dust- and active-carbon filters in both EN1822/EN779-standards as well as the ABEKHg-classification. Basically there are two different types of filter elements; carbon-filters that filter odours and dust-filters that filter toxic crill like asbestos.

Then you have to define the type of odour or the crill fineness. Here you can find which type of dustfilter or carbonfilter you need for a certain type of pollution.

The wide range of filtration types we can provide ensure that every type of pollution (PAHs, asbestos, chlorine, cyanide, mercury) can be filtered

Every overpressureunit has its own dimensions. For example the FFBox uses circular filters while the FFMultibox uses rectangular filter elements, meaning you have to know which filtersize go in an overpressureunit. Futhermore the stacking height defines how much filters elements you can store in your system. When you order your filter elements at Freshfilter you don't have to worry about stacking heights. We have up-to-date information regarding all PFS to provide you with exactly the filterstack you need.
